Conservation International. "Into the Abyss" Underwater HD filmmaker and marine conservationist Gregory Stone has had a longstanding and complex relationship with the world's oceans. Expeditions he has led across the globe have done everything from study the impacts of the cataclysmic East-Asian Tsunami on Thailand's coral reefs. to track the largest known iceberg in history across the southern seas. After leaving a long-held post of Vice President for Global Marine Programs at the New England Aquarium, Stone is now with Conservation International as the Vice President of Marine Programs.

With a Background in international business, Melanie Marks has had the opportunity to travel extensively and explore wines from around the world, becoming well-versed on severl varietals of wine, as well as the wine-making process itself, On one of her many trips, her love of wine become forever tied with her other passion, An avid diver, Melanie was introduced to the plight of the Great White shark while accompanying a research team on dives off the coast of south Africa.

Richard Theiss spent over 12 years in the television commercial and motion picture field providing production services for over 500 national commercials and films. Combining his interest in environmental issues with his film and scuba diving background, Mr. Theiss established RTSea Productions, a company dedicated to capturing nature and underwater images that will impress and move viewers to preserve and protect our precious resources - above and below the waves.

Fabien's fieldwork and a degree in environment economics from Boston University have developed his strong belief that solutions can be found to reconcile human and economic interests with conservation needs.

In addition to being an Executive producer on such shows as "Deadliest Catch" "Mysteries of the Shark Coast" and "Project Earth," Discovery Channel Senior Science editor Gasek has commissioned hundreds of hours of television and shows like "Expedition Pacific Abyss." and Discovery Project Earth" The Emmy-Nominated and Award-Winning producer was once owner and director of Stony Brook Films, a private company whose clients included, among others Discovery Pictures, Animal Planet, The Science Channel and National Geographic.

Emory Kristof
Emory Kristof has earned many awards for both writing and photography, including the NOGI Award for Arts from the Underwater society of America in 1988 and the Explorers Club Lowell Thomas Award for Underwater exploration in 1986. That same year, Kristof and Robert Ballard received the American Society of Magazine Publishers Innovation in Photography Award for their photographic coverage of the Titanic. In 1998, Kristof was presented with the J. Winton Lemen Fellowship Award by the National Press. Photographers Association 'for being one of our profession's most imaginative innovators" In 2001 Kristof was named a contributing photographer-in-residence at the National Geographic Society.
