"How Do You See The Ocean?" YouTube Video Contest

Win a trip to BLUE Ocean Film Festival!

Tell us how you see the ocean and win a trip to the festival incliuding 3 nights stay at the Portola Hotel and Spa, transportation and two BLUE Whale Passes to the OCEAN Blue Film festival. 

How to Enter:                                                                           

1. Create a video, three minutes or less, answering the question:  "How do you see the ocean?" 
2. Fill out the Registration Form (SUBMIT HERE).
3. Abide by YouTube's Terms of Service for consideration in the contest. *
4. Deadline to enter & upload your video: Sept. 7, 2012  NEW DEADLINE! Sept. 15th, 2012 at 11:59 p.m. PST.

To win, create a video answering one simple question: "How do you see the ocean?"

Join hundreds of filmmakers, ocean scientists and photographers at BLUE by showing us how you see the ocean through a YouTube video. Whether you see it as a source of adventure, a blue shimmering thing of beauty, a valuable place of life that needs protecting—or a giant, scary thing filled with sharks—we want to hear it. No need to be a professional filmmaker. This is YOUR story and we want to hear it!

We will create a film featuring portions of our winning films to be shown at the film festival, and to be featured on our YouTube Channel. Watch BLUE's YouTube Channel for videos from BLUE staff and volunteers to see what the Ocean means to them as examples. But feel free to be creative!

** -  Travel accommodations:  If the winner is outside of a 500 mile radius of the festival the winner will recieve two round trip tickets from their location within the 50 United States to the film festival.
