Photography at BLUE

A great and evolving element of the festival is the inclusion of still imagery from some of the world’s most respected nature/ocean photographers.

BELOW

BY DAVID DOUBILET

About the Exhibition: David Doubilet’s images speak of a beautiful but fragile and finite sea. His photographs are a vision of a rapidly changing world within a collection of black and white and color imagery that crosses the spectrum of life in the ocean from the elegant design of a single creature to the living complexity of entire marine communities. David’s life in the sea has produced a photographic legacy of the most bio-diverse marine systems on our planet now threatened to become shadows of their former selves.

BELOW is supported by Rolex, National Geographic Society, ILCP and Portola Hotel and Spa.
